Saturday 26th August from 12:30 till 3:30pm in the Pearce Institute, Govan.
This event is for our two young members, Caitlin & Christina who are representing Scotland in the World Taekwondo Championships in Dublin this October.

Our Drop-in is on as usual today from 9.30am, and #Govan Law Centre will be holding a drop-in here from 10am on Friday mornings, so if you have any issues around Welfare Rights, Housing, Insolvency, Community Care, Personal/Criminal injuries or Employment Law, please come along and meet with their female Solicitor in confidence. Please come early if you want to speak with her. You do not have to be a member of Tea in the Pot to access this FREE service. If you need further information, please call us on (0141) 425-1709.

QUESTION TIME DEBATE

Thanks to the 33 men & women who attended Tea in the Pot Question Time debate, chaired by John Beattie. Thank you to Councillor John Kane (Labour), Ricky Bell (SNP) and Allen Young (Greens) for their input.

12 women from Govan, Whiteinch, Paisley and Clarkston areas came to see the screening of this film at Tea in the Pot. A very powerful and emotive film enjoyed by all. Many thanks to Community Development Worker John Beattie for his support.

DIY workshop

Several of our women took part in a D.I.Y. workshop arranged by Dashing Divas and run by The Coming Home Centre. This took place at Elderpark Workspace. Women were learning how to use a drill and put up a shelf etc.
